UK: A5 Camera Set on Fire
Burning tire destroys Warwickshire, UK speed camera on the A5.

A burning tire was used to destroy a speed camera on the A5 at Redgate in Warwickshire, UK around midnight on Sunday. This is the third attack on the ticketing device in the past two years. In May, a burning tire inflicted £38,000 in damages. In 2003, Martin James O'Callaghan cut down the camera with an angle grinder. O'Callaghan pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine of £4,000 and perform 120 hours of community service.

Warwickshire Police estimate the latest damage at £20,000 and are looking for suspects.
