UK Speed Camera Burned for Third Time
Vigilantes set fire to a Lancashire, UK speed camera for a third time.

A popular target for anti-speed camera vigilantes in Lancashire, UK has been destroyed for a third time. The automated ticketing machine, worth £24,000 (US $48,000), had been located on the B5246 Mashes Lane at Mere Brow issuing tickets after being replaced on two previous occasions in 2004 following similar attacks.

Upset speed camera partnership officials vowed in 2004 to put up surveillance cameras to watch the speed camera. Although these surveillance cameras were never installed, officials claimed they would once again consider putting them up.
