New Zealand, Kuwait Ticket Cameras Attacked
Vigilantes attack speed cameras in Kuwait and New Zealand.

Vigilantes in both Kuwait and New Zealand attacked photo enforcement devices last month. The Porirua District Court in New Zealand tried vigilante Somphteth Thammauong, 23, last week for the crime of smashing the window of a speed camera van with a hammer. Thammauong allegedly ran across two lanes of traffic to get back at the device that was about to issue the citation. He was sentenced to pay $285.75 for the window and perform 75 hours of community service.

Last month in Kuwait, a vigilante damaged the Riqqa ticket camera according to Al-Wasat daily.
