Australian Vigilantes Shoot Speed Camera
Vigilantes in Melbourne, Australia destroy a red light camera/speed camera combination by gunshot.

Vigilantes in Melbourne, Australia today shot and destroyed a combination traffic camera that had issued both red light and speeding tickets. The device, located at the intersection of Mannigham and Macedon Roads in Lower Templestowe, was found to have a what appeared to be a bullet hole that had severely damaged the electronics within the camera housing. The private contractors responsible for the device found the battered camera at around 10am.

Victoria Police are investigating.
