UK, Australia: Speed Cameras Attacked
Australian motorist abuses speed camera operator while Buckinghamshire, UK camera goes up in flames.

A speed camera on High Street in Buckinghamshire, UK was set on fire Wednesday morning. A rag-filled tire ignited the blaze and severely damaged the device which had just been re-installed after a prior attack with an angle grinder. The camera had been meant to trap motorists accelerating away from a village on a road with no significant accident history.

In Melbourne, Australia a twenty-year-old motorist kicked a mobile speed camera car and hurled verbal abuse at the device's operator. Police intend to charge the man with assault and "offensive behavior."
