France, Russia: Speed Cameras Scorched, Sprayed, Smashed
Vigilantes disable speed cameras in France and Russia with spraypaint, fire and metal rods.

Vigilantes in Lot-et-Garonne, France set fire to a speed camera at 1am on Thursday. The automated ticketing machine in the town of Laplume had previously been spraypainted several times, according to Sud Ouest. In Bordes, the speed camera on the RD952 was spraypainted gray on Friday, La Republique reported.

In Voronezh, Russia, charges were brought Wednesday against a man accused of knocking a speed camera out of commission. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the man used a metal pipe to smash the device with a single blow.
