Cheshire, UK Speed Camera Survives Torching
Embattled Cheshire, UK speed camera survives a third arson attack.

A speed camera located on the A556 near Chester in Cheshire County, UK was set on fire early Thursday morning. The camera survived the blaze which marked the third attack on the device in just two years. The Cheshire Safety Camera Partnership which operates the device claims it is "incomprehensible" to think anyone would want to harm a ticket camera.

"This incident will have no effect upon the strategy of the Partnership with speeding motorists," the Partnership's project manager Lee Murphy told the Cheshire Guardian newspaper.
