UK: Speed Camera Sign Theft Stops Tickets
A speed camera in Plymouth, UK no longer issues tickets after a required warning sign is stolen.

A386 speed camera
Thieves have rendered the speed camera on the A-386 in Plymouth, UK useless -- but they didn't touch the camera itself. Under the law, the ticket machines may only be used where warning signs are visible. Last week, the required signs were ripped off of lampposts only two weeks after they had been installed, causing the Devon and Cornwall Safety Camera Partnership to cease issuing tickets from the camera.

Police have no leads on the identity of the individuals responsible.
