Investigators with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have said they need another six months to investigate a series of scandals involving Dallas-based camera contractor ACS. ACS had offered inducements to the police officers who ultimately recommended that the company be awarded a multi-million dollar speed camera contract.Newton has been charged with discreditable conduct for how he allegedly focused the Overtime police operation on Edmonton Sun columnist Kerry Diotte.
