Picayune, MS Police Turn School Into Traffic Checkpoint
Police set up a traffic ticket checkpoint stopping parents in Picayune, Mississippi as they drop off their children at school.

Picayune schoolParents dropping their children off at schools in Picayune, Mississippi will be stopped by police officers looking for out-of-state license plates beginning Monday. The Picayune Police Department believes having such a license plate is probable cause for them to hold the driver for additional questioning, issuing tickets to anyone whose papers are not in order.

Last year, the Picayune Police Department became one of the first police agencies to deploy unmanned aerial vehicles for video surveillance purposes.
