Put a Speed Camera Anywhere You Want
It just takes two accidents, of any severity, at any time to justify a camera in Queensland, Australia.

A freedom of information act request continues to provide insight into how camera enforcement operations work. In Queensland, Australia, it only takes 2 accidents related to speeding (that means when you have a drunk driver going 2 MPH over the limit it's a "speeding" accident, even though alcohol is the true cause of the wreck). That accident can be minor, and the accidents can have happened any time in the past. In other words, they have no real criteria.
