France, Sweden: Speed Camera Bashed, Burned
French speed camera is burned to a crisp while a Swedish camera is destroyed by an accident it did not prevent.

A speed camera was burned beyond recognition in Saint-Gervais, France on Sunday. According to La Gazette Val d'Oise, flames from the camera were spotted on the RD14 at around 1:25am. Police have no idea who might be responsible.

In Vaxtorp, Sweden on Thursday, a speed camera totaled a car in an accident the device failed to prevent. Hallandsposten reported that the 25-year-old woman who struck the camera on the side of Highway 24 escaped without injuries.
