France: Speed Camera Doused With Paint
Paint covers a speed camera in the Midi-Pyrenees region of France.

Vigilantes disabled a speed camera in the south of France on Friday. The automated ticketing machine located on the RD1 between Rodez and Villefranche-de-Rouergue was covered in a thick layer on paint. Police did not even know of the incident until asked for comment by Midi Libre. Needless to say, officials have no idea who might be responsible.

In just the past four weeks, French speed cameras have been smeared with manure, set on fire, smashed with a sledgehammer, and spraypainted.
