UK: Speed Camera Bonfire on Guy Fawkes Day
A speed camera is set on fire on Guy Fawkes Day in Hertfordshire, UK.

A vigilante in Hertfordshire, UK paid tribute to the memory of Guy Fawkes by creating a speed camera bonfire on November 5, the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. The attack destroyed the device which had been issuing tickets in the 50 MPH zone on the A414 Stanstead Abbotts bypass near Briggens Park.

Hertfordshire Speed Camera Partnership officials condemned the loss of the ticketing machine, while local police have no suspects.
