UK: Parking Ticket Santa Pays Off Fines
A man calling himself Parking Ticket Santa is paying the parking fines for those ticketed in Birmingham, UK.

A man calling himself "Parking Ticket Santa" has paid the fines of more than fourteen motorists hit by meter maids in Birmingham, UK. The man placed a card on each ticket victim's windshield explaining how he didn't want the ticket to ruin the motorist's Christmas. Enclosed in the card was £30 (US $52) in cash to cover the fine.

Caroline Howard, 27, received the fourteenth card. "I couldn't believe my eyes," Howard told The Sun newspaper. "It was one of the nicest Christmas presents I've ever had."
