UK Children Used for Traffic Stop Publicity
Thames Valley, UK police are teaching children and motorists a lesson by bringing students on traffic stops.

BBC UK Stop photoPolice in Thames Valley, UK are bringing children along on traffic stops during "Police Week" so that the ten and eleven year-olds will meet face-to-face with motorists pulled over for various offenses. The idea is to have the children tell the offending motorist why speeding is wrong and to teach children a "good lesson" in the process.

In the US, roadside stops are considered dangerous and are the third-leading cause of death for police officers according to the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
