UK: Two Essex Speed Cameras attacked
One camera is burned and another flipped in the Essex, UK region.

A pair of speed cameras in the Essex, UK area have been attacked. Just two days after ticket partnership officials replaced the Kelvedon Hatch camera at Crown Corner on Ongar Road, a burning tire was used to set it on fire. A similar attack took place in May.

On the A127 at Southend in Essex, a speed camera has been rotated 180 degrees so that it is facing the wrong direction as is unable to issue citations. Officials installed the camera in a 40 MPH zone as it transitions into a 70 MPH zone. "It's placed to rake in as much cash as possible," one resident told the Sun newspaper.
