France, Germany, Lativia, Russia: Speed Cameras Disrupted
Speed cameras across Europe were taken out of service last week by vigilantes who knocked down, burned or painted them.

Latvia tilted speed cameraIn Croix-en-Ternois, France, the speed camera on the RD939 was ripped away from the highway and torched in the middle of a field last week Sunday. According to La Voix du Nord, the device had only been in operation for a week.

In Akniste, Latvia, the speed camera on Skolas Street was knocked over last week Sunday, Delfi reported. With the bolts loosened at the base, the device was easily tipped over, bringing the total number of disabled automated ticketing machines in the area to four.
