France, Germany, Saudi Arabia: Speed Cameras Disabled
Fire and spraypaint take speed cameras offline in Europe and Saudi Arabia.

According to Kolnische Rundschau, the first automated ticketing machine was located on the Boltensternstrasse, and the second, on Escher Strasse, was ripped from its concrete base before being torched.

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, vigilantes disabled a speed camera by covering it with underpants. Erem News reported that the automated ticketing machine had been located in the Naseem neighborhood. Nearby, a speed camera, known locally as "Saher" was placed either by vigilantes or local officials in the middle of a turning lane, infuriating motorists, El Ghad reported.

In La Roche-des-Arnauds, France on Friday, vigilantes disabled the speed camera on the D994 using fluorescent yellow spraypaint, according to Le Dauphine. In Villeneuve-d'Ascq, the speed cameras on the A1 and A25 were spraypainted yellow on July 22, La Voix du Nord reported.
