Italy, Latvia: Speed Camera Shot, Sign Swiped
Three truck drivers grab a speed camera warning sign in Italy while shots are fired at a camera in Latvia.

Italy speed camera signVigilantes in Riga, Latvia shot a speed camera on Tuesday at around 3:45pm, TVNET reported. A passing white Chrysler fired through an open window, hitting the device on Route 167. Police have no suspects.

In Naples, Italy police accused three truck drivers of stealing a speed camera warning sign. Carmine Cocozza, 55, Enrico Gargiulo, 44, and Giovanni Esposito, 46, were accused of nabbing the sign on Via Salice in Casalnuovo, according to Il Mattino. Automated tickets are only valid if the warning sign is visible.
