The recordings were done under identical conditions on the same day. Listen carefully to how much better the Stromung sounds when you turn the key. Make no mistake, this is a loud muffler. It is not particularly intrusive when driving normally, but at wide open throttle it is quite loud on the outside of the car. It also gives a wonderful burble when you lift off the throttle -- just like a rally car should. I had the opportunity to hear the Scoobysport muffler in person: the Scooby is actually quieter from the outside, and noiser on the inside of the car. The Scooby has a deep rumble compared to the roar of the Stromung.
Installation is a snap -- it bolts up perfectly to the stock mounts.
Don't fool yourself into thinking an exhaust will give you more power. It won't. This mod just gives you great sound and great looks, and maybe frees up 1 extra hp -- nothing noticeable.
