Remove the master cylinder: first, unplug the connector for the brake fluid level idiot light. Disconnect the brake line. Remove the two bolts connecting the master cylinder to the booster. |

| Disconnect the vacuum hose from the booster. Now you have room to remove the four bolts that hold the dual stage brake booster to the firewall. You will also need to go under the steering column inside the car to disconnect the booster. This is the most difficult part of the installation. The booster pushrod connects to the brake pedal. To remove it, take out the retaining clip and then remove the clevis pin.

Pull out the old booster. |

| This is where you will install the new single-stage booster. Note the four bolt holes.

Insert the new booster. |

| Secure it to the firewall with four bolts, then secure it under the steering column and connect the vacuum line. Reinstall the master cylinder.

Now bleed your brakes.
|
 
|
| Replace your wheels. You're done.
